Charitable contributions made to UT Southwestern Medical Center are tax-deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. To claim your donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Yes. Gifts made directly from an IRA or other qualified retirement account can be directed to UT Southwestern. These types of contributions may count toward your required minimum distribution; we encourage you to consult your financial advisor for guidance.
